The staff of Cypresswood Elementary are committed to empowering students with life-long problem-solving skills, while encouraging self-discipline. This service will be provided by a motivated staff who will serve as role models for all students in a safe and warm environment.

Title I, Part A (Title I) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, as amended (ESEA) provides financial assistance to local education agencies (LEAs) and schools with high numbers or high percentages of children from low-income families.

The purpose of Title I, Part A is to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic achievement standards and state academic assessments.
